Model gsh22jfta ww 16 months old. Ice made VERY slowly, maybe 12 cubes/day. Changed filter, didn't help, water flow is good from door.

Any suggestions welcome.......

Check your freezer temp, it should be 0º. Most icemakers have a thermocouple built in to detect the temp of the freezer, if it's too warm, and just a little too warm, the ice making cycle will be slower. The colder the actual freezer temp the better the icemaker should work.
