Hi All,
I have an occasional issue where my GE Microwave (GE® 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven JVM3160DF4WW) trips the Siemens afci breaker (Type QAF2).
The microwave is on a dedicated 20 amp circuit.
Anyone heard of this issue before? The microwave is only 2 years old. I am wondering if this is nuisance tripping or an indication of a different issue?
I look forward to hearing back,

There are 2 LEDs on that breaker, labeled “arc fault” and “Gnd”. Did you notice which one or both was lighted (or not) when you you turned the breaker back on?

That gives you an indication of what the trouble might be.

If you didn’t notice, turn the breaker off, then back on. The LEDs indication should reappear for 5 seconds indicating what the last trip was.

No LEDs lighted would be an overcurrent trip.
