Hello
I have a rental property that has a GE dishwasher that leaks after a wash. I have not seen it myself as I am relying on what my tenant tells me. I had a trusted repairman visit the apartment, and he told me that water leaks from the motor. He believes that the plastic casing around/near it is cracked, and thus the leak.

Can I just replace that plastic casing? Or do I need to purchase the motor and plastic? I see they come together.

Thanks
GE model GSD2030Z05WW from 2001.

that is a very common leak on a GE, I would almost guarantee it is the seal between the pump and motor. Do yourself a favor and replace the entire motor and pump assy.
