We have inherited two metal frame gazebos. Each is 8 x 10. We plan to join them back to back measuring 8 x 20. We intend on building a wooden raised platform base. Do you have a good instruction book you could recommend or any other information that would help us on this project?

Since this is a custom project, I doubt you will find anything specific. But general guidlines for framing should be available at home and book stores.
