Hello! At one point, it was determined that my driveway gage opener was going out and needed replacement. My question is that if I get a replacement opener and control box, is it as simple as remove old/install new? It seems pretty straightforward minus any control box programming, but figured I'd ask to be sure. Thanks!

You covered everything i needed to know to repair my own arms! Especially the model of the diode as mine had been cooked by a lightning strike.
