[Julia's Vineyar]

I need to prune over two thousand grape vines, some over 1/2" diameter. This vineyard had been leased but has recently fallen back into my arthritic hands. Does anyone know of a gas powered trimmer that could handle this type of job with a clean cut? Thank you for any suggestions!!!

I have not seen any gas powered pruning heads. I have seen air powered. But they are expensive and you would need a air source. I dont know how practical that would be for you. If you have arthritic hands you have a real problem. I would use good lopping shears for that job. This may be something you should contract out.
