GAS FURNACE-INDUCER MOTOR

231 5
Trying to get new inducer motors assemblies for gas furnace ("Comfortmaker" - maybe this is the problem?-They came with the house, so, we kept them!) (Motors are getting noisy - going bad.) Looking thru WEB sites, could not find the same as the originals. Sites mention that if the "specs" match, the "assemblies" will be OK to replace the originals. Will that be really OK to be done? Any help 'out there?'
Thnx for any INFO.

Post the model number of the furnace here. Comfortmaker is a ICP International Comfort Products model along with Keeprite and a few others. Not hard to get parts for but you do need to get a exact cross reference for it.

Supplyhouse.com is a good place to start. The RPM must be a exact match and hp of the motor. Like I said they are not hard to find parts for.
