not exactly sure what it is called or if they even make them, but I need one...

I am looking for a simple piece of hardware that will allow me to mount it to a flat surface, using 2 screws, and would connect directly to the loose end of the hose exactly like the other end attaches to the water source, allowing water to be directly put into a container through a wall or something similar...

here is a simple paint drawing of what I want...

Do you want to mount the hose to a wall or to the container? Not quite clear what the supply path is that you want to accomplish from the bracket to the final destination.

ok....it is actually really complicated but here it goes....

I am competing with my high school in an underwater robotics competition, and I need a way to tether the wires from the bot control box to the control area without letting water into the main container. I figure if a garden hose keeps water in it should certainly keep water out...

I need to mount the hose directly to the side of a 50 caliber ammo box, and have the hose screw on and off of the side, for further portability...

I couldn't really think of a better place to ask this question than a gardening forums so I really hope that you could help...

Thanks...

There are fittings that you can use on barrels- like to collect rainwater in, etc. to connect a hose to. You drill a hole through the barrel, the fitting passes through with an inside (the barrel) and outside part that seals against the wall of the barrel. Check with hardware retailers.

You don't need any other screws to fasten it with.

sounds like you need a bulk-head or through wall fitting or tank fiiting. Basically you drill the appropriate size hole place the fitting in the hole and then a rubber washer and large nut is screwed on the other side to form a water tight seal. Then a pipe fitting can be threaded into either end.
Here is an example of one
