Still working on kitchen renovation... in pulling out old sink- I discovered old garbage disposal was plugged into outlet under sink..- When I went to kill power- I found the outlet is also on same circuit as: (2) basement outlets and my furnace (Just the heat blower motor)- I'm guessing I should tap off another circuit for the new disposal? Does it need to be on it's own circuit or can I tap off another outlet somewhere in kitchen? (or can I leave as is)- The old one was also wired to a switch on the wall which I want to keep

Garbage disposer can share a circuit----good idea to get it off the furnace run---you don't want a bad disposer to kill your heat---that furnace should be on its own dedicated circuit---
