I would like to make a ramp going into my garage making up for the garage floor which is an 1 1/2 inches higher then driveway
My truck is standard shift and I feel a ramp would make it easier to get in to the garage
Maybe use a 2x12 and cut it on an angle or use a 1x12 put wedges underneath then fasten to concrete with tapcons or lead anchors
I don't think concrete will work

Around here people just get a 1/4 inch thick steel plate from a recycle center, have it cut to length, and as wide as 4 feet, to ease the angle.

Lay it in the doorway with it on top the garage floor, and anchor bolted at the corners.

Seems like a few options but if you get 3/4" like a 1x or a strip of 3/4 pressure treated ply then instead of a 1.5 inch bump you have 2 separate .75 bumps. That should be plenty.
