Hi guys....

Have an 18x 7 garage door with opener. When it rains with any velocity the door leaks underneath at the threshold. Not everywhere... Just certain spots but when it leaks it leaks alot! Any advice?

Most garage doors don't have a thresh hold----they just use a soft rubber sweep attached to the bottom of the door panel.

Sometimes the slab sags making the rubber sweep useless ----post a picture----Mike---
Ya... That's exactly the problem... The slab isn't level in some spots so the water seeps right in... Flooding the inside of the garage.... Is there anything I can put down?
I've seen door bottoms fitted with a heavy foam that is scribed to the slab---

I have had no luck finding the product, however.

I run into this problem regularly enough and simply don't know where to get that foam --Mike---
I've seen the product called tsunami threshold .... Heard anything about it. Expensive but looks promising!

Nope---got a link? I get a lot of odd ball requests in the course of a year--nice to know what's out there.--Mike---
there are exrta thick weatherstrips avalible that sometimes help
I used to get a lot of water under our 16' garage door in certain spots along the door when the wind would drive the wind just so. Installed a garage door threshold similar to at the link below - no problem whatsoever now for several years.

So I have looked around on the Internet. A threshold is definitely the way to go! Can't see any precipitation getting in. Now I just have to find out where to get one other than online.... Does Lowes or any other construction stores carry these thresholds?
