I have a custom built home and it's about 30 years old with two garage doors (10ft x 7 ft). I want to replace it myself and search around but no one carry this size. Please let me know what is your recommendation? Thanks.

That sounds like a pretty standard size, what type are you looking for solid wood, panelled wood or metal? Roll up. swing open?

Currently, it's wood frame and pressed wood board rolling garage door type. I am not sure what type would be the best type for replacement. I have seen many aluminum garage doors on lower end houses and it seemed to be flimsy. I am looking for something a bit better than aluminum type.

My door is 4 panel steel with R15 foam insulation inside. It's a wide door, and I think the insulation maybe gives it a little more rigidity. Windows on the top panel are a nice feature, to let some light in.

My door is insulated with metal inside and out with window at the top. It is pressed on the exterior to look like wood,

Some people order the same door with flat surface and decorate them to look like carriage house doors.

And now we see some with windows in different places or all windows.
