Gaps in inside corners

1183 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  siffleur
I have some gaps on some inside corners.

One was bc of an out of true wall. The other because I was working tired and screwed up the measurement.

Should I cut new pieces to fit or should I fill with setting compound? I read that stuff dries hard and is less susceptible to cracks than mud.

The gaps are 1/4” along the length of 8’.

The 2nd gap is 7/16” fading to nothing across maybe 2’.

Thanks.

Taping and mud are supposed to conceal these little errors.
