Hello,

I have a very small gap between one recessed light and my ceiling. I am wondering if there is an easier or quicker option to fix it rather than applying drywall compound, sanding, repainting, etc? Perhaps a caulk or another suggestion? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Photo is attached. Thanks.

I would caulk and paint it.

I agree, caulk will complicate taking the trim ring off but I wouldn't worry about that now.
