I have replaced a 1/6 HP 1 Amp. 208-230 Volts ,RPM 1075 with a 1/5 HP 1.6 AMP, 208-230 Volts, RPM 1075. I have replaced the capacitor 370 VAC with another 370 VAC. I need to replace the fuses' however, the writing is worn. Can I use a 20AMP 250 V fuse (2 of them) or do I need another size?
You need to know the recommended fuse size on the condensing unit. Look at the data plate on the condensing unit. Make sure the replacement fuses are hacr rated.
Yep, cause if they aren't, you'll be replacing them often.
