The model is a Goodman GMP-100-5 Rev B
Unit is 6 years old.
Blower starts but not getting ignition of gas flame.
Tested Limit switch and it is in a closed positon. I believe this indicates that the limit switch is good but I am not sure. If I am correct in my assumption, what could the problem be? Also not getting any blinking lights thru the view window.

Took the lower door off and found the LED light. Turned the unit on, the fan started and I also heard like switch clicked and then smelled gas, all the time the fan is running, click reapeated about 3 times, each time smelling gas with no ignition. The unit shuts off and I have a contionus blinking red light.

Does the igniter glow red? Is there a viewing window on the lower door, look inside and see if it has a flashing LED, count it and find the code on the back of one of the doors.

Is the LED on?
When the burner goes to start, the ventor fan starts and then the igniter which sits in front of one of the burners glows red hot after about 45 seconds. If it doesn't then it may be burnt out, bad pressure switch, bad circuit board or other problems. There should be an additional spill switch and rollout switch beside the burners and on the ventor fan. If either one is tripped you have a SERIOUS problem. The Goodmans have a bad history of cracked heat exchangers.

I replaced the ignitor. Also did a cleaning on it. Now the damn unit does not want to start. When I give it power, the red light comes on for 5 seconds then shuts off. Checked the wiring and roll out swiches, all ok.
Any ideas on what my problem could be now ?:(

"When you give it power?" what do you mean by that? If you are pushing the door switch in and it is weak/bad then it may be faulty.
Man did I just learned a big lesson. Plus I threw in towel too soon. When I removed the wires I had made a schematic so I would know where to reconnect the wiring. I wrote a "B" for blue & "B" for black. So what I did was connect the black where blue was suppose to be & blue where black belongs. What an ******* I am. Anyway I corrected and all's well now.
Lesson learned, write out the whole word instead of just the 1st letter. :)

You want to check all your connections one more time. Then check your ground and make sure you have a good ground, this is very important. If all this is good check the low voltage side of your transformer for 24-27 Volts. Check it again at the connector going into the control board. If you have voltage there and the LED (red light) is off replace the board. You can also tasp the little black boxes on the cisrcuit pack and see if that makes a difference. Thye are relays that sometime stick, but even if it starts working you will need to replace the board.
