Al Queda resided in Afghanastan where the plan for 9/11 originated. We went to war there for that reason. Iraq and Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. Although we were led to believe that he had. Absolutely no proof of Iraqi involvement, thus a war based on lies. Maybe you could tell me where those weapons of mass destruction are. We have not found any so far.
Why not give the facts as you know it, as to why we went to war with Iraq. I am not running anywhere.

The fact that Hussein invaded Kuwait is alll I needed
That & the fact he used gas on his own people is good enough for me. An dthen of course the possibility that the WMD were trucked out sometime in the 10 years before the war :whistling2:

These are the facts that justified the war? Not what was being told at the time. These facts justify lives of over 4000 soldiers? No direct link. Not worth the cost in lives and treasure. If the weapons were removed ten years before. Why were we told they had them at the time preceding the war started?

The so called "Flawed Intelligence" was just a small part of us going to Iraq.
But the press concentrated one the WMD angel cause it was made for better rating.
Did the news ever focus on the horrible crimes against the Kurds? The Human Rights violations? How about his agenda to wipe out Israel? How about he was affording safe haven for renegade Muslim extremist?
How about the fact his Bath Party had an expansionist doctrine?
Did you know there were Bath funded terrorist training camps in Iraq?

Flawed intelligence is code for lies. Who is this Muslim Extremist you speak of? Those camps were not Al Queada. You do realize that Al Queada did not exist In Iraq prior to the war. Using these facts and logic, why don't we just do the same in Iran?
