I have a new Frigidaire refrigerator with the ice maker on the inside. It's been 72 hours and so far only about 1/4 of a bucket of ice has been made.
A couple of questions:
1) Why would the owner's manual say not to use a self-piercing type of connection at the water supply line? I did. I also used plastic line instead of copper (DIYer)
2) It appears that only the back 2 molds are filling and even then only about 1/2 way (thus the low volume).
3) could I have overtightened at the fridge hook up point? I guess the obvious answer is, Yes, I could have.
4) Could it be the distance from the water supply valve? I've never had any water pressure problems, so I don't think that's it.
What is the most likely culprit? Anything I didn't think of?
Thanks!
