Having problems with dryer (2001 model) ... bought in 2005
Clothes are having brown burn marks on them when drying.
A friend is looking at ... doing some cleaning and maintenance, and needs to get top panel off to look at more cleaning, maintenance.
Thoughts on how to disassemble top panel and any other ideas, advice?

Look for two semi-circular strips in the back which are hinges for the top, but if you pry the top up be careful you don't chip the enamel.
