Hi Everyone,

My husband and I bought a house built in 1921 and are finding we have issues to address. I'm stuck with the task of learning this diy stuff cause as my husband says, the only muscle he use is his brain. If the house were a computer he'd be on it...so yeah it's on me.

Can't wait to see what I'll be knee deep in! :biggrin2:

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I'm actually very happy to have found this site. So many times I have searched for various things on Youtube, Google and even This Old House site with little luck. It's nice to be able to communicate directly with someone who has knowledge and is willing to give advice.

As for the hubby, I'll keep him. I'd much rather ditch the house, all the original wood work isn't worth the moldy basement headache.

Tell him to get his lazy arse on You Tube and figure out how to do the repairs that are needed. Anything you can think of can be found on You Tube.

April Wilkerson is getting a good following on her DIY Stuff on You Tube also.

Good luck.
