While I was ripping up the underlayment in my kitchen, some of the subfloor came up with the glue on the underlayment. Do I need to replace the sub floor or can I patch the low spots?
If it is minor damage and you are covering it with another underlayment you can use floor leveler. It depends on how bad it is and what you plan to put on it.
Just as important is the question of what are you putting down over?? Remember that if you are putting down sheet goods (like linoleum) it can “print” every defect right through the new stuff. Ron
