I would like to put insulation for sound-proofing and "pop-up"/"between the joists" radiant heat.

I know you're supposed to put special cans on recessed lights when they're going to be near insulation. Is there anything special I need to plan on doing around my ceiling light fixtures that'll be surrounded by insulation?

(I am looking at rockwool/mineral fiber insulation, though I might do open cell spray foam as well/instead if it can go around my radiant floor heating stuff)

Insulated rated cans IR. or just use LEDs that look like pots.

Go with resilient channel too for the sound.

Rock wool or fiberglass are both good.

You don't have to worry about the code around the LED pots? hmmm

I'm kind of thinking to replace almost all the lights in the house with LEDs. I don't mind the idea of buying new fixtures every 5-10 years since it's a good excuse to paint the walls/ceiling :p
