I'm looking at installing electric floor heating under some tiles I have in a bathroom project in the basement. Some kits come with thermostats some dont. I'm just curious, I'm looking at a "warm tiles" system that doesn't come with a thermostat. Do I have to buy a "warm tiles" thermostat? Or is any thermostat that is compatible with floor heating systems sufficient ?

Ayuh,.... You just need a T-stat that can handle the voltage, 'n amperage the heat uses...
