This is an odd problem, we have a number of different dimmers throughout the house but there are 3 that now have a flickering problem. They have been working fine for at least a year until we had a very short power outage in the neighborhood and these 3 now tend to flicker when they are not on all of the way. Another odd thing is that if there is another load on the same breaker, then they seem to work fine or better at the very least. Ive changed all 3 of the dimmers and the breakers (its a ganged pair) and it works alittle better but its stil not right. There are other dimmers elsewhere in the house that work fine.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

This all happened after a short power glitch and this breaker also has sockets which has a microwave plugged into it. Didnt connect those dots until now. If the glitch damaged the microwave then maybe its causing the problem. BTW, when its cooking something the lights seem steady. I'll try unplugging it and see if that "fixes" the problem.

Some dimmers are very suseptipul to noise or hash on the mains,
its more to do with the design of the dimmers than anything else.
Get some better quality dimmers.
You could try putting a filter on the incoming mains to the dimmers.
