I need to fill the joints of my flagstone patio (new installation). I would like to fill with pea gravel but need to know a way to lock the gravel in place. I have been told that an epoxy would provide what I need.

I am hoping that there is a way to install the pea gravel first, and then go over it with the locking epoxy without it jeopardizing the flagstone appearance.

Is there a way to do this? Where can I get the needed epoxy in my area. Zip Code 63026

Normally that is done with bags of pea-gravel, and gallon bottles of epoxy mix, all mixed into a wheelbarrow, then troweled into the gaps, and smoothed over .

let set.

Try to find it at a home center, in the masonry supplies.

Thanks for the reply. I am struggling with purchasing the correct epoxy for the project. I would GREATLY appreciate recommendations of the epoxy product(s). I searched Lowes and Home Depot and did not see anything clear that sounds like the epoxy that I need to mix with the gravel. And if I have to get it online, then I do..........but you would think that I should be able to find something locally.

Do you have a paver and brick/ block retailer near you?

Here we have a place named ROBINSON BRICK. that is a distributor in several states, that carries or can order most everything imaginable for D IY patio builders.

So look in the real phone book under brick / paver distributors.

epoxy outdoors ? no one i know recommends exterior use for their product for 1 simple reason - epoxies are NOT uv-resistant so it yellows,,, that being said, if you google 'chattahoochie,' you'll find graded aggregate (small stones) avail by the bag along w/wtr-based epoxy sold as a conc overlay,,, you'll have to repair it occasionally but that's part of the method/material since its outdoors
