I installed a swing in our backyard using a beam between two trees. The bolts are in pretty deep, but one side has started coming out. Obviously this is because there's a constant motion pulling it forward on the front. What can I do two better secure the beam to the tree?

Bolt it to one tree and put a steel loop around it on the other tree so it can slip. The trees will have differential movement in the wind so bolting both ends solid is a recipe for failure.

Just a thought. Drilling a hole through the tree will create a weak point and with an extreme wind that might result in the tree coming down. I have used ront's rope method and with the right rope it worked great for many years. I moved so not sure just how long it lasted but it did no damage to the tree.
