Use bullnose tile to terminate the wall tile at the corner, this gives you a soft edge instead of a sharp edge to cut yourself on when you bang your elbow trying to wash your hands.

They also make a terminus for the granite corner.

Perfect thanks!

This is the tile im using, they dont sell edges for it. Any other ideas? And if I dont use an edge would I just fill the sides with grout?

Any examples of the "Terminus" granite corner? Cant find any info when I google...

I am sure that in So. Cal. you can find several countertop stores that can make you a corner return (terminus) for that small corner.

It will need to be from a close matching piece of stone , but it is done occasionally by professionals . You might get a scrap piece from wherever you got this top from.

And then glued on and clamped until set.

As for the tile ending at the corner, find a corner tiles that run up the wall, they are about a foot long, by an inch wide, on a 90 degree corner to butt your first cut tile to, then place the field to the back, and a second cut to end at the rear wall.

Your talking about just gluing a 1/4 round onto it then right? I have the tools to make one, just wasnt sure if there might be a better cleaner way people practice.

I cant really find anything online for the tile piece, could you send me a link to something your talking about. I get the idea, but just curious how it would look. Im going to see if HD or lowes has some, but will probably end up going to a tile shop tomorrow.

What grout color would you go with on that piece? Id like something darker, but it seem like people use the lighter color of the tile for the grout mainly and not darker colors of the tile. Heres some pics I took...

The part I envision for the wall is similar to an outside corner trim piece for paneling and such, except that this is made from glass or ceramic and in pieces around ten to twelve inches long and applies as a tile.

I doubt that any "BOX " store will carry these because there is no volume sales market for them, most homeowners just go with off the shelf "plain Jane" stuff.

Try a custom tile and counter top place for fancy trim pieces.

Tried to edit to add advise on grout choice, but was told "time's up" So now it costs them a couple of brownie points to add a new post.

As for grout choice, use your own (or SWMBO) taste to choose, after all you will be the one seeing it often , not I.

Search for "pencil tile". Essentially they are 3/4 wide by 6 inch long tiles shaped similar to half round wood molding. For the granite, i believe you can shape the edge with a random orbit sander using a diamond pad. That is how they shaped an edge on my quartz countertop.
