Don't hesitate to hit up your local library. Most have dozens of home improvement books including basement finishing. Even most big box stores have a plethora of books from which to choose. I find Lowes has the best selection of home improvement books at a reasonable price. And, of course, a google search will likely lead you to hundreds of resources.
