Ontario-I am turning half of my cottage basement into one large room with a lounge area along with an open sleeping area. There is a narrow staircase (30 inches wide) leading into the basement, as well as a small exterior door (48in in height, 28 in wide) and no window. Does anyone know if this will pass for appropriate fire exits?
