Filling hole in slab

I have a hole in the slab foundation of my house. It is only about 3 inches down and 9 inches wide. Do I just fill it with Quickcrete and thats it? Thank you

Thanks for the answers. So I don't have to wet the concrete first or anything like that. Just put in the new cement and that's it?
