#10 copper is okay for the ground. The minimum size pvc is 3/4 but unless it is a very short run I would use 1" as the minimum.

Short and sweet answer for the grounded conductor you will only need #10 and for the PVC conduit 3/4 inch is the smallest size it will be allow with that combation you posted.I am installing a 50A generator inlet and plan to use PVC conduit and 6ga THWN for the 2 hots and neutral. Should I also use 6ga for the ground?
Also, what size conduit should I use to be in compliance with fill requirements?
