I have used several methods over the years.
Backwards blade in circular saw with a jig, sliding mitre saw with backwards blade, and various forms of tin snips/aviation snips.
Recently I started using s small grinder with a thin metal cutting blade. this is easily portable, can even be used right on the scaffolding.

So I was wondering what method do you use and why?
