Tudor style home with rotting wood trims and fake stucco on the front with asbestos siding on rest of the house. Had a couple contractors provided quotes for repairing trims and repainting entire house. All of them suggest no priming and use something like Benjamin Moore Aura self priming paint. In your opinion, should I ask them to prime the surface after it has been low pressure wash + mildewcided + dried properly? Would the oily primer affect how the moisture vapor evaporates?
