Hi everyone,

Hopefully I have the right forum but recently built a new home and the new front door bottom has small gap that I presume threshold adjustments should fix. However, the materials they used for weatherstripping on the bottom of the door (attached via groove) doesn't appear to be high quality. I am curious if you guys have recommendations on high quality door bottom weatherstripping? Many thanks and happy new year!

There are different styles of door sill weatherstrip, some go on the bottom of the door and some go on the sill. Can you post a couple ofpics of yours.
Had one that fit into a rabbet in the bottom of the door and no other would fit it.

Most common is a piece that goes across the sill or a U shape that goes under the door.

Look at the threshold to see is there's plastic plugs or phillips screws showing.
If there is it's an adjustable sill. A smal turn of the screw will lift it up to close the gap. If you go to far and the doors seal is draiging to much back off the screw and tap the piece back down using a piece of wood and a hammer or a rubber mallet.

You guys are great. Thank you for the replies. Please find a couple picts. I saw something at local hardware that had aluminum front that looked "sturdier" and had multiple fins at the bottom.
