Expanding foam drywall repair?

This is interesting. My instinct says it's hard to beat a toggle bolt in there. Expanding foam isn't going to hold screw threads, right? But then I read the comments and basically people are having a 100% success rate. I'm intrigued.

I'd be much more inclined to use one of these along with a little plastic toggler.

Or one of number 1 and a plain old drywall screw in the second mount hole to just keep the mount from turning round and round.


The big toggle WILL keep the mount attached.
