Expandable garden hoses

I'm done with crappy expandable garden hoses "As seen on TV"...
I'm going back to Rubber Commercial Contractor grade garden hoses - they last many years.
Craftsman, Continental tire - that's the way to go.

I concur completely because I abuse hoses.

I water plants in the California sun, and they stay out in the sun, not usually primly rolled up like recommended. Cheap hoses don't last under those conditions. All the heavy duty "contractor" hoses with brass fittings have worked well, though some of them are really stiff when the weather gets cold.

I've had some for more than ten years.

If you CAN take the time to primly roll them up, so much the better. They could last a lifetime.
