Expandable garden hoses

I'm done with crappy expandable garden hoses "As seen on TV"...
I'm going back to Rubber Commercial Contractor grade garden hoses - they last many years.
Craftsman, Continental tire - that's the way to go.

When I worked at Big Orange, we loved/hated those damn hoses.

We loved them because they were an easy sale.

We hated them because we knew they would be coming back in no time.

We loved them because we had an agreement with the maker that we didn't even have to send them back, we just threw them away. They knew how bad they were but they were so cheap to make everyone made money.

For new hoses, look for heavy duty, 5/8" or larger hoses. And make sure that the hose ends are well made and connected correctly. Flexogen, Goodyear are also good brands. Check for neverkink as well. They have grooves along the inside of the hose so that water will still flow even when kinked.
