I had a fan and light hooked up to the two wall switches which ran up to the outlet with the two romex yellow wires. there is only three wires from the switch to the outlet, REd ,Black and white. which i put all the whites together and hooked the Black from the fan to one of the black ones on one of the Romex wire and the black one from the light to the other Romex wire, Everything worked fine, Fan worked one switch and the light worked the other. I Took the old fan and light out, Now i have 4 wires coming out of the New Exhaust fan which has a light. How do i hook up the wires to the Two Romex wires which has two whites and two black wires, Remember these two have seperate 110 volts in them. Thanks

The wires are Two white a black and a green one(sorry color blind, had to ask the wife for color). Is the green one ground? Then just hook up the white to the two whites and black to black on one of the wires? I hoping i could use both switches ,one for the light and one for the fan like it was before.
