Thanks 4 your suggestion k_buz....it worked! Blue&black to red!
Now fan and light are operated by one switch.

So...... now I was wondering:) how would I wire so they are switched separately?

The light is a 3way and would stay as is.
I would like to put the fan on a single pole switch.
Do I have to run a new 14-2 from switch box to ceiling to do this? Thanks

Thank u. But I don't want/need the fan on a 3way switch...... don't need to turn on the fan from my bedrm since I will only be using it when I take a shower.
It is only a couple of steps to the other switch......just a 5x12 bathroom.
New 14-2 for single?

well just remove both 3-ways in my diagram for the fan and use a SP switch in one of the 3ways location
