Hi I remodelling a bathroom that currently has a 36 inch vanity and appropriate draining, water connections etc with which I haven't had any trouble. I'm thinking of enlarging the vanity to a 42 inch which means that my drain connection will move by 3 inches to one side (increase in vanity by 6 means a 3 inch move, right?).
At any rate, I'm concerned that enlarging the vanity will mean the drain won't work well. More to the point, is there a simple way to connect the P-drain to the vent if the vanity has moved? I plan on using PVC piping.
I'm looking to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance!
