I have a large room with 3 Fahrernheat electric /hydronic heaters in it. two 1500 watt and one 2000 watt heater making 5000 watts.,..they do heat very slow as I expected but do not get as hot as I expected. the thermostat is supposed to handle 5280 watts. yesterday just to kill time and see if I could make them any hotter, I disconnected the two smaller heaters and had just the large heater hooked up, to me it seemed like it got a lot warmer, then I connected up another heater making 3500 watts, they still seemed to be warmer. they are not far from the panel, maybe 20 feet with 12/2 wire.

would it make sense for me to install another thermostat bedside on the one already there and connect two heaters on one stat and one heater on the other stat? maybe it's just me and my age that can't tell the difference in the heat out put by feel, but then maybe, Is it possible that the thermostat is not letting enough juice thru to the heaters with all three connected?
