i would like to soundproof my basement ceiling and worried about the electrical and lighting that will go under itdo I need to put something above the lighting or elecrtical box. my first question and more to come thank you for any help hopefully i can get lot of information here cause im trying to do my basement. What do you mean above the electrical box? The only thing you have to do is make sure you don't bury any boxes! Other than that you are fine
