Hello
I live in the northeast. I need to run electrical power to a pond which is 50 ft from the house. There is a shed adjacent to the pond ,but that does not have electrical power. Is PVC conduit the way to go and how deep in the ground shall I lay it. What guage wire should I use and are there any good information or articals I could read. In the past I received some great recommendation.

Thanks

PVC is the preferred method. The depth is usually 18" of cover. Sometimes you can go shallower and sometimes you have to go deeper. How many volts/amps and what is the trench going under (ie grass or driveway)

There is plenty of info out there, search on Google,
Or go to Mic Holts forum.

Otherwise tell us more please ?

Expected loads in shed ?
What loads are already on that circuit ?
And the route of the cable ?
