Hello everyone

I would like to add an extra power outlet on the same wall with constant power and a ceiling fan that is switched on & off at the switch.
The wall has a half switched outlet the bottom is switched and the top one constant. http://yfrog.com/egwiringp here is a schematic of the wiring. Its not the best drawing but at least you get the idea
I appreciate any help with this project

Its very simple. You will need a mulit meter to figure out what wire is the hot in the switch box. Run a 14/2 romex from the switch box to whatover outlet your added. The white from in the switch box will splice with the white from the new wire you have added. Now youneed to fiure out what wire is the hot wire in the switch box. That will be where you will pull the power from for the new outlet. Just splice those wires together and add a little pig tail to go back onto the switch.
