Hi,
I make lighting fixtures out of 30s-40 Fans, (see pic) people love them and I love making them but they ALWAYS ask "does it spin?" I know there has to be a way to do it with some kind of specialty switch or something but I just can't figure it out. Any ideas or Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Joseph.

Ayuh,.... How'd ya run the wires to the bulbs,..??

The wires are gonna twist up, 'n break ain't they,..??

Very Cool lookin' lamp Btw,.... ;)
Thanks!
Well they would in this one. That is why I am looking for a way to make the next one light up AND spin.
Running the wires in one that does not move is not a problem, you just use a manifold that goes over where the blades would normally mount and run the wires thru that.

Battery power lamps. No wires needed.
Good idea I had thought of that also, I would like to find a way to do it with electric though. The only thing I can come up with would be 2 parts that had contacts on both, then when they would spin the contacts would keep the circut open, the problem with that would be, it would be turning on and off constantly which would make the thing either flash or flicker plus I am sure it would substantially shorten the life of the bulbs?
