I would install the swing arm into the pipe coming from the wall, making the reach longer, then use a pvc (get rid of the metal) ptrap assembly to connect to your sink. The swing arm and any elbow you get won't do the job as you have it set.
That was my first thought but I couldn’t get the 45* off from the stub out. Definitely didn’t want to break something and make it more difficult than finding a fitting. The stub out doesn’t align with the new vanity either. Don’t know if that helps any.
Cut the pipes to the right length, glue a PVC elbow on whichever pipe it fits the best, and a 1-1/4" Fernco coupler to connect the elbow to the other pipe?
