My condensate pump stopped working on my furnace quite some time ago. I forgot about it because I moved out and rented the house. I need to go back and replace it I'm sure..but can anyone tell me the effects a broken condensate pump might have? (Truth is I dread going back there!)

Water all over the floor. And mold growing.

The condensate is going to build up in the unit, spill over its pan and onto whatever is around and below it. Since you'd know better what's near the unit you can predict what will get wet and moldy.

ahh ok....well it's in a dirt basement..so I guess I won't worry about it too much for now. thanks for the feedback
