EASY question re: electrical inspection

1068 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Leah Frances
I pulled an electrical permit for the gut and renovation of my kitchen. I have all the boxes placed and will begin pulling wires tomorrow. The inspector told me he wanted to come out when I was "ready to insulate". Since the actual receptacles and switches are installed after the drywall, those devices don't need to be present at the first inspection, right?

No devices installed.
All the cables pulled into the boxes.
Grounds made up and fastened to the box if metal.
