Numerous and numerous

With a little more info we may be able to narrow it down

How old, how many coats, how many times, when painted, how painted (specifically prep), and with what painted?

Are the bubbles popping and peeling?, or just showing up?

Hey who is asking the questions here?

But yep! need to know those questions fist.

Wrong primer would not seal the wood.
Too many coats of oil paint will not let the wood breathe and buckle the paint
Economy paint is the most likely cause.
I don't want to strip the door so I think I will no-bid this one, but thanks for your inputs.
more info

One or two of the blisters are 2" in diameter, and they fill out and flatten out. When I saw them they were flat. Some littler ones stayed. Very strange.
Didn't bid on solving this problem.
