Seen this morning at a home inspection in Chicago:

Just as in everything else you have your duffers and you have your pros... this was a pro job, the pipes were neatly cut with a reciprocating saw, they didn't tear out more walls, ceilings and floors than they had to, etc.

I didn't take a pic, but at the next property duffers had been removing cast iron radiators and lost control of one going down the stairs, the result was an impressive hole at the landing!

The movers (who helped move the 700 lb giant out of our 2nd floor to get painted - ugg) call cast iron radiators... 'sleds'.
